死んでいった人の慰霊碑はあるのに、 どうして動物や植物の慰霊碑はないのだろうか。
この地上に生きとし生ける全てに命が一つずつ。

社会や国の様々な民族の文化や文明、考え方がある。
それら全ての混沌を、そして人々の怒りや悲しみを乗り越えて、私たちが成すべき事があります。

人に命が有るように、犬や猫の動物にも、そして樹々や草花の植物にも命は有るのです。
広島のそして日本の子ども達が健やかな心に育つために動植物の慰霊碑を広島の平和公園に建てることを思いついたのです。

 There is a memorial monument for people that died as a result of the atomic bomb. Why are there none for animals and plants? There is life in each and every living thing.

We have a mission. Beyond the chaos of anger and despair. Beyond differences in society, nation, culture and thinking.
Dogs, cats, trees, flowers, and leaves all have lives just like men do. This is why I want to build a memorial monument for the plants and animals in the Hiroshima Peace Park, so the children in Hiroshima and all of Japan can grow up with warm hearts.

皆さんが住む町や村の自然の生き物達の代わりになってこの動植物慰霊碑を建てる活動に対してのメッセージを送って下さい。
メッセージでも、詩でも、短いお話でも、どんな形でも構いません。
自分がもし原爆で死んでいった動物や植物だったらどんな気持ちだったのだろうか。又、そんな生き物達の仲間ならどんな風に思い続けているのだろうか。
長い旅の始まりは、皆さんがそんな生き物たちの気持ちになる事から始めたいと思います。

 Please send messages on behalf of the wildlife living in your area toward this action to build a memorial monument for the plants and animals. The messages can be in any form. (e.g. poems, short stories, etc.)
Lets start this long journey by putting ourselves in the position of the animals and plants that were killed by the atomic bomb. How did they feel? How do their friends feel to date?
